about the film:

Kintsugi is an 16th century Japanese art form which repairs broken and chipped pottery using a lacquer embellished with gold or other precious metals. Visual artist Makoto Fujimura and Kintsugi Master Kunio Nakamura invite us to explore a deeper understanding of the redemptive beauty of this ancient art form as we encounter surprising comfort and restoration in the midst of brokenness.
