Over the past ten years, we have enjoyed bringing you updates on the films and filmmakers of Windrider, highlights of the Windrider team, film industry news, and heartwarming stories from our community on our social media channels.
In an effort to continue the conversations had at the Windrider Film Forum and to go into more detail than our social media channels provide, we’ve created this blog newsletter.
During the Windrider Film Forum and throughout the year, we are frequently asked follow up questions on the films. In the ‘Windrider Film Updates’ section of this blog, we will bring you the latest news on these films and filmmakers, as we share their journeys and accomplishments.
In our ‘Behind the Scenes’ section, you will find an inside look at what goes on in planning the Film Forum and learn more about our amazing volunteer team!
One of our main initiatives with this blog newsletter is our ‘Action Heroes’ section. Here, we will showcase people from our community and discuss what they thought about the films and how they took action after seeing the films. We enjoy these stories and call them our ‘Action Heroes’ for taking action in our community!
If you would like to submit an ‘Action Hero’ story, please send us a message on our contact page. We love hearing the creative ways you have followed up with constructive action related to the issues presented in the films.
Next, we will bring you updates on the new and exciting collaborations in our ‘Partnerships’ section. The Sundance Film Festival and United Nations Association Film Festival just to name a few!
Finally, in our ‘Everything Else’ section, you will find a variety of other topics we think you’ll find interesting.
