Without our volunteers, the Windrider Film Forum would not be possible! As we now celebrate our 10th year, we’d like to share with you a little about our volunteers. A few weeks ago, we featured Maureen Short Garrett, whom you can read about here.
This month, we’re featuring John Stewart.
John has known Windrider Bay Area Director Terri Bullock for over 20 years and has attended every Film Forum for the past 5 years. John has been a tremendous help in setting up the red carpet, balloons and Windrider photos in the entrance and lobby of the lobby of the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center.
When asked what John loves most about Windrider, he replied, “I love how uplifting the movies are. They are not the usual escapist type movies. Rather they are meant to touch your heart and motivate you to do something important for others.”
Aside from Windrider, John has his own residential architecture firm, Stewart Associates, which he started more than 30 years ago.
Based in San Carlos, Stewart Associates has designed and remodeled more than 750 houses in Northern California. Click here to see some of his work!
